11:26am Update
I got to the CN Centre around 10:45 and there's been a bunch of kids training on the pitch as its being installed. It looks like some was done last night as it was probably 80% done when I came in, as opposed to 50% on January 9th. One team is from the PGYSA Academy, wearing red uniforms, the others are wearing blue. I recognise a couple of the kids, but not the team. I don't know if they're playing before hand, during, between or after, but they've been warming up for about an hour now. Everything for the broadcast is set up, we'll do some final testing once Damian arrives at 12:30ish (hopefully...you can never count on those Kiwi's!).

11:26am Update
Quick update as the kids take to the field. Here's a couple of pictures and a short video. Academy seems to be dominating (in red) as every time I look up, the ball is at their end of the pitch!

12:20pm Update
There's a strange smell wafting through CN Centre. The game between the Academy kids and the others is half over and all I can smell is tuna. I think it's the popcorn machines heating up, as several of the concession stands are beginning preparations. It's gross....but OH SO DELICIOUS!

12:42pm Update
Both teams have arrived. Wenatchee are here and dressed and ready to go, they're trickling out of the change rooms and onto the pitch one by one. Coach Mike Osborn was just talking to Brad Stewart and Al Bristowe (Media Director, PG Fury). The Fury are also in the building, starting to come out to warm up as well. We're a little over an hour away from kickoff! One thing that we're noticiing is a change in the pitch. There seems to be a layer missing, a layer of padding I think. It sounds more clunky than it did 3 weeks ago, like cleats on a boardwalk/jetti type sound. It'll be interesting to see the reason for that change, we'll try and hammer it down when we talk to the players during the show.
