Fury Awarded 2 Points

The Prince George Fury, in cooperation with the CMISL and the PASL have released the following statement with regards to the games played January 9th against the Tacoma Stars.

For Immediate Release:

After a lengthy investigation both the President of the PASL and the President of the CMISL have decided to award the Prince George Fury with 2 additional points in the standings.  This is a result of a game between Prince George and Tacoma whereby Tacoma did not abide by the regulations between the two leagues.

CMISL President Mel Kowalchuk stated, “Tacoma bent the rules and both the PASL President, Kevin Milliken and myself believe that Tacoma did not understand or comprehend their actions or the consequences.”

Therefore Prince George will have one more win and one less loss resulting in a first season record of 4 wins and 8 losses.  Kowalchuk went on to say, “When you consider the talent that is on some of the teams in the PASL and CMISL, Prince George’s record of 4 and 8 is actually quite impressive for a first year team.”

In addition to the win being awarded to Prince George, Tacoma is fined an undisclosed amount!

Both league Presidents now consider the matter closed and no other details will be forthcoming.
